""The photos were all taken in Redding, CA from a snowy winter to an indoor studio with artificial lighting. I find nature carries mystery, elegance and beauty. sought to capture things that intrigued me, things that evoke beauty and simplicity, even grace. I like the idea of negative space in addition to enhancing the idea of elegance in a subject by stripping it of color. I find that photography, as in many other mediums, tends to surprise me. The possibility of something coming out better than planned or surprisingly beautiful makes one want to explore the possibilities of this particular medium. I for one will continue capturing that which stirs the intrigue and curiosity within me."
