Dazzling Holiday Lights ~ On Each Night STARTING NOV 1, 2025
On each night starting at dusk, Fourth Street street sparkles with cheer every night at about 5PM. Holiday lights embroider every tree and glowing balls of light dangle from the branches. Enjoy the three blocks of beauty with friends and family all season long! Location: Fourth Street at Hearst.
Note : Lights will come down in February 2026.

SANTA’S MAILBOX & Return Letters to Kids !
Starting Nov 8, deliver Santa letters to his big, red mailbox night or day in front of Peet's Coffee at 1776 Fourth Street. You can’t miss it (see picture below). Letters with a return address will receive a reply from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Yes, kids will get a real letter back in the mail if you drop your letter in this mailbox no later than TUE 12/16.

SAT 11/8 from 5-7pm
Dazzling Holiday Light Celebration, FREE
Invite family and friends to stroll the street and enjoy 3 blocks of sparkling lights plus complimentary hot beverages, cookies and entertainment! This event marks the beginning of the holiday season on Fourth Street so come and mark the year with pictures together under the lights.
Free Activities include:
-Live, jazzy funk music by The 3 Elements
-Night Magic Shows with Brian Scott (5:45pm & 6:30pm)
-Art Project: on black paper, make night trains (or any design you like) using thin, Washi tape.
-Complimentary treats include cookies, coffee, apple cider, hot cocoa, and delicious Mexican hot chocolate from Tacubaya (while supplies last)
-Giant, white wolf puppet and roller skating elf, both covered in LEDs!

Fratello Marionette Shows

Join us for the enchanting Fratello Marionette's - Holiday Shows! Their costumes and artistry are incredible, adored by all ages! Each show lasts 30 minutes. Location: On Delaware at Fourth Street.

SUN 11/30 from 1-4pm
Tea Lights at Stained Glass Garden, FREE
A crowd favorite, our neighbors at Stained Glass Garden will help you create a fused glass tea light. Create the piece then pick it up a week later after they fuse it in the kilns. All ages welcome, assistance available if needed. Activity will happen in a tent outside their doors at 1800 Fourth Street.

THUR 12/4 from 5-8pm
Girls Night Out
Shop and Sip at any of the participating shops on Fourth Street, open late to celebrate the season with you. There will be any number of in shop attractions such as special trunk shows, live music, in-store sales and giveaways! This is an annual event headed up by our friends at Title Nine. Participating stores will be listed here closer to the event date. Hope you can join us in celebrating women owned businesses!

Winter Holiday Fest & Craft Party, FREE
Celebrating the holidays is so fun with everyone who comes to Fourth Street.
Join us for a Holiday Party!
-Wreath making with Paraiso Plant Studio
-Stained Glass Garden, glass ornaments
-Live music
-Visits with Santa in his huge, red sleigh
-Glitter pine cones,
-Holiday crafting projects with Castle in the Air
-Silverwork Studio will be offering a charm pressing activity for the first 150 people
-Meet the GRINCH, a holiday favorite on Fourth Street
Location: on Delaware at Fourth Street. All activities are free to the public.

SAT 12/20 from 1-3pm
Caroling
Join the caroling from 1-3pm along with SF City Chorus Carolers as they walk the street in song! Starting at 1776 Fourth Street near Peet’s but you can join in at any point. Just start singing!

SHOPS OPEN LATE
Each Friday & Saturday night in December, participating shops will stay open until 7pm. Check websites for details or call to confirm!
