A Berkeley institution,
Bette's has been serving breakfast and lunch to crowds since
1982. On the weekend there's a wait for one of the forty
seats in this re-creation of a traditional East Coast diner
(with 1957 Seeburg Jukebox and extensive record collection).
The food is all fresh, and the menu is both traditional
American and modern California-great pancakes and waffles of
all kinds, souffled pancakes, potato pancakes, corned beef
hash, huevos rancheros, delicious meatloaf, salads,
sandwiches and much more.
