DAZZLING STREET LIGHTS Shinning all season on Fourth Street stretching from Hearst to Virginia, on each night at dusk (rain or shine) until 12/31/16. A light show for all ages.
SAT 12/3 CATERPILLAR PUPPET SHOW (free) A tradition on Fourth Street to invite your friends and meet for a classic puppet show, hilarious and touching for all ages. Show times at 2PM & 3:30PM. Located in the plaza at Fourth Street and Delaware.
SUN 12/4 CREATE FUSED GLASS ORNAMENTS (free) Our friends at Stained Glass Garden love helping us make our own fused glass ornaments! Located in the plaza at Fourth Street and Delaware. Create your art, it will be placed in a kiln and next weekend (12/11) you will be called to pick up your free design.
SUN 12/11, SUN 12/18 & FRI 12/23 CAROLING WITH SF CITY CHOIR (free) Voices join as we sing to the street! Join us for traditional caroling. Meet at 1776 Fourth Street at 2PM each day noted.
SAT 12/10-11 & SAT 12/17-18 VISIT WITH SANTA (free) Bring the family and have a chat with Santa this season in his big red antique sleigh! He will be here with Mrs. Claus each day noted from 12-4PM at the small plaza at Fourth Street and Delaware (across from Peet's). Bring your camera, all ages welcome! RAIN OR SHINE Santa will be there.
SHOPS OPEN LATE Starting 11/25, shops will be open late each Friday and Saturday night until 7PM. Many shops will be open beyond these hours. Please check back for a list that we will post here.
WARM COAT DRIVE Fourth Street will be collecting warm coats on behalf of B.O.S.S. Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency, a local organization serving all ages of low income, homeless and marginally housed families and individuals. For 45 years, BOSS has helped respond to the needs of our community and we hope to help with warm coats this season. BOSS website HERE. Collection locations: Aveda (1846 Fourth Street), Burton (1840 Fourth Street), Jigsaw (1842 Fourth Street) and Dr. Perricone M.D. (1833 Fourth Street).
LIVE MUSIC (free) We believe in music on Fourth Street and celebrate with as much traditional and non-traditional musical enjoyment as we can muster. Happening all year round at 1776 Fourth Street (in front of Peet's). Weather dependent. During the holidays we have EXTRA so check our events calendar for music entries each weekend.
VALET PARKING Starting Fri 11/25 valet parking will be available from 11AM-9:30PM each Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a fee of $5 per vehicle for the first 3 hours and $2.50 for every additional hour thereafter. During the week before Christmas, this service will be available Wed 12/21 - Sat 12/24 and again on Mon 12/26 - Sat 12/31. Drop off and pick up location will be on the east side of Fourth Street at Delaware.
